Could I end up paying more for insurance than someone else the same
age?
Yes you could, but only if the Insurance Company decides
that you represent a higher risk.
Once the life Insurance Company has received your application
they will make a decision about whether you represent an average risk,
or whether you represent an above average risk – in which case your
policy will be rated and your premium increased.
Only around 12% of policies bought on the Internet are rated.
For the rest, the premium will be exactly as quoted.
